The Neighbourhood Environment Programme (NEP) encourages Edinburgh South Central residents to get involved in making decisions for environmental improvements and allows them to have an influence on a mainstream budget.
Through NEP the community is provided with greater local accountability over environmental spend.
Want a local road prioritised?
The Roads Capital projects are submitted for consideration through various sources including Community Councils, Residents Groups, Councillors, Council Officers and/or you, individual members of the community!
Proposals are then processed by the Local Roads Team and added to the South Central Neighbourhood Partnership NEP portfolio for consideration at South Centra£ Decides. No date yet for 2017

It should be noted that proposals not selected within a particular year will NOT be automatically included in the following year’s portfolio.
If you would like a project to be re-considered for the following year’s programme it will need to be re-submitted and considered along with any new submissions.
