About the National Planning Framework
Scottish Government has drafted the 4th National Planning Framework (NPF4) — the long-term infrastructure plan for Scotland. It will influence everything: from what kind of housing is built and where it goes to transport developments and the location of renewables. Scottish Government are now consulting the public on the draft and the consultation is open until 31 March 2022. Because NPF4 runs to 2045, there won’t be another chance to change things for a long time.
