PUBLIC MEETING of MERCHISTON DISTRICTS COMMUNITY COUNCIL

Residents are invited to attend all MDCC meetings.

  1. Napier University’s intention to sell its Merchiston campus site.
    Guest Speakers: Professor Sue Rigby, (Principal, Napier University) and Michael Greenhalgh (Director of Finance, Strategy and Planning and Secretary to Napier University Court)

    – Napier’s spokespersons invited to outline Napier’s’ intention to sell current site
    – Open forum discussion, inviting comments from residents and other stakeholders

    City Councillors, MSPs and MPs are invited to attend and participate in discussions
    Places are limited by capacity of venue. Register to attend and submit your question in advance to Secretary of MDCC:  merchistoncc@gmail.com

  2. Residents’ Issues Forum – Residents are invited to raise any new local issues of concern
  3. Minutes of MDCC Meeting on 16th June 2026 (for approval).
  4. Apologies for Absence. Declaration of Interest. Matters Arising from previous meeting
  5. Chair’s Report – Ian Doig, MDCC Chair
  6. Planning Report – Mairianna Clyde, Planning Lead is unable to attend this meeting
