The association of Hackney Carriage Drivers within Edinburgh offer a Poppy Cabs service each year to help veterans and ex-servicemen and women the opportunity to travel to a remembrance service within the Edinburgh and Lothians area free of charge. They see it as a way of giving back to those people who have dedicated themselves to our country.
Although it is still a couple of months till remembrance Sunday they would like to draw attention to their service in good time so that people have time to organise themselves and also to spread the word amongst their friends and ex-colleagues.
