Flotilla of Lights’ Cake & Information Stall; 4pm-8pm, Saturday 7th November 2026
The annual ‘Flotilla of Lights‘ is taking place on Saturday 7th November this year; and we’ll have a ‘Cake & Information Stall’ from: 4pm-8pm that afternoon/evening.
Further details will soon be up on our website – but please do come along on the day, if you can … you’ll be able to sample some homemade ginger bread, parkin & shortbread and we’ll also be selling non-alcoholic mulled wine 🙂
The actual Flotilla of canal-boats should pass by the Ashley Terrace Boathouse (which will also be lit up!) around 6.30pm.

The AGM will be held on Sunday November 1st at 2pm, also at the Merchiston Tennis and Bowling Club.
PLEASE DO come along to hear more about our activities throughout the past year, and our developing plans for the future. We’ll have an ‘annual report’ to hand out; and there will be brief presentations from some of the current Office-Bearers. The actual AGM should only last 45-minutes or so – AND the bar will be open throughout and up until 4pm, if you want to stay for a chat after the formal business!
