At our meeting on February 17th Mara Barth gave a short presentation about Edinburgh Garden Partners – an Edinburgh-wide organsiation that matches volunteers who are looking for an opportunity to do some gardening – often wanting to grow vegetables or fruit – with garden owners who find maintaining the garden is getting a bit much for them. Often these are older people or very short of time.
In our area there are more volunteers than gardens available, so if you would like to share your garden (and your harvest!) with a willing volunteer, or even just support the organisation, please do take a look at the link above. Edinburgh Garden Partners would love to hear from you.
