Volunteers Required for Management Committee

Dig-In is a community owned greengrocer which has been open on Bruntsfield Place since 2014. We aim to provide quality locally sourced produce to the High Street — particularly providing options for sustainable plant based options, for organic produce and less use of disposable packaging.

The Management Committee are a diverse voluntary team from within the community. We meet monthly to support our fantastic staff and volunteers.

We’re at an important time as a community business — in that we need support for our recovery post-Covid — to help bring our customer numbers and sales back to sustainable levels.

If you’re able to lend your time and energy to supporting the shop, please send a short statement on your experience and motivations to isla@diginbruntsfield.co.uk. We’d love to see more community members volunteering for a ‘roster’ on the Management Committee (or in the shop!) — strengthening our collective community network and benefits for all. We also welcome help in other areas even if you’re not interested in an MC role — whether website updates, communications, or shop DIY.
